| Located in one of Cincinnati's poorest neighborhoods, the Contact Center has a thirty-plus history of organizing. We work on the local, state and national level to be the grassroots voice on issues affecting our members. We work specifically on neighborhood issues in Over-the-Rhine of housing/tenant rights, resident safety concerns and welfare issues. In 1992 the Contact Center started the Cincinnati Welfare Rights Coalition to organize recipients around welfare issues to make changes in government policy. In 1995, the Contact Center started the Ohio Empowerment Coalition. | ![]() |
